Stay in a luxurious Lotus Belle Stargazer tent with a wood-burning stove, a panoramic skylight to the stars, a private bathroom and your own guest kitchen.

At Månefjord, bad weather doesn't have to spoil your stay. When the rain drums on the canvas, the wood stove keeps you warm and cosy – and you can simply stay in bed a little longer.

Månefjord is open all year round – from light summer nights to starry winter evenings by the fire.

Månefjord is neither a hotel nor a campsite. It's a private retreat for adults looking for closeness, nature and comfort.

The entire glamping area is yours alone

Månefjord was created as a private retreat where you can enjoy peace, privacy and uninterrupted time together.

The tent is situated in a secluded area at the rear of the property, hidden from the road and surrounded by trees, grass and open sky. There are no passers-by, no other guests and no shared facilities.

Just a few steps from the tent, the historic brick building contains your private bathroom and your own guest kitchen. Another part of the building is normally used as our workshop, but there is no activity there during your stay – no tradespeople and no one unexpectedly passing through.

We live on the property and are therefore always nearby if you need any assistance. Otherwise, we remain discreetly in the background, and you are unlikely to notice us.

From the moment you arrive until the time you leave, the entire glamping area is exclusively yours – a private retreat with plenty of space for peace, connection and time together.

Is Månefjord for adults only?

Yes. Månefjord is a romantic retreat for two adults. We don't accept children or pets, and the entire site is non-smoking.

Can you go glamping here in winter?
Yes, Månefjord is open all year round. The tent is extra insulated and has both a wood-burning stove and an electric heater, so you'll stay cosy even when it's raining, windy or freezing outside. Firewood is included, and in winter the starry sky through the skylight is especially clear.

What's included in the price?
Bed linen, towels, firewood, WiFi, electricity, water, parking, a private bathroom and your own guest kitchen. There is a one-time cleaning fee of 186 DKK (approx. €25) – no other fees.

Do we share the site with other guests?
No. There is only one tent, so the entire glamping site is yours during your stay.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 12:00 noon.

Can we order breakfast?
Yes. You can add our breakfast basket for two. It's delivered to your private guest kitchen the evening before, so you can enjoy your morning at your own pace.

Can we charge our electric car?
Yes. There is an 11 kW charging station on site, charged by usage.

Do you speak English?
Yes! We speak English and German fluently and are happy to help before, during and after your stay.

Where is Månefjord and how do we get there?
In Roslev on the Salling peninsula by the Limfjord, about 20 minutes from Skive. Aalborg Airport is around 90 minutes away by car, and the beach at Eskov Strandpark is about a 15-minute drive.
